We maintain a communal TV system (known as GDX systems) in our flatted properties (excluding 4-in a block, unless the aerial is supplied by us).
The GDX system provides Freeview and a connection to the basic SKY package. If you wish to receive SKYQ you will need to contact SKY to subscribe to SKYQ and then contact us to arrange for the relevant modifications to the GDX systems, and to make the relevant payment.
Our TV aerial engineer will contact the SKY engineers and agree on a date for a joint visit to set up SKYQ. If SKY give you an install date when you first subscribe you should note that this will probably change as our engineer will agree a new date with the SKY engineer.
If you stay in a 4 in a block or house, then you can fit a sky dish or TV aerial. We would ask that you do not fit the dish to the fabric of the building as this may damage the cladding and render. You can fit an aerial to the chimney of the property or in some cases you may be able to locate a SKY dish on a concrete slab in your garden.
We would ask that you ensure all cables are tied away and concealed safely.
