Working in partnership with Shettleston Housing Association, we are now operating an Energy Advice Service for anyone living in the local area.
The Shettleston and Tollcross Energy Project (STEP) will operate across both Shettleston and Tollcross Housing Association’s areas.
Support is available through face-to-face appointments, home visits and telephone calls.

You can also ask your housing officer to refer you to the service.
It is available to any residents in that area (not just HA tenants), and offers advice and support with the following issues:
- Energy debt
- Capped supplies
- Billing and metering issues
- Communicating with suppliers
- Saving money on energy bills
- Understanding heating systems
- Dealing with condensation and dampness
- Applying for fuel vouchers and additional support
